U13-U19 Full Field

U13 and above Program

Age groups U13 through U19 play regular, 11-a-side soccer on full-size fields. Boys and girls are typically placed on separate teams. However, girls are allowed to participate on boys teams. Practices are set by the individual team coaches and take place at local schools and parks.

There are three seasons of 11-a-side soccer, spring, summer and fall. For more information on these seasons please click on Spring, Summer or Fall.

Player Registration

Information on registration dates and procedures for each season will be posted to this web site. Registrants are able to request a team, coach, or player preference on the electronic registration form. Registrants not making a placement request are typically assigned to teams using school affiliation. Unless otherwise requested, returning players are typically rostered with their previous season's team.

Unless otherwise requested, teams are typically formed by school attended. Players that request a team they've played on previously, AND REGISTER BEFORE THE DEADLINE, are always placed onto that team. At the registration deadline, non-returning players that have registered on time are placed onto teams of the appropriate age and gender that have spots available. After the registration deadline, late registrants are placed onto teams based on their order of registration and the placement guidelines described above, provided there are still spots available on the appropriate teams.

All teams in the Olympia United Soccer Club are coached by volunteer coaches who are ususally parents of one of the players. OUSC can only field as many teams as it has coaches to coach them. Our umbrella association, Thurston County Youth Soccer Association (TCYSA) provides training opportunities for all its coaches. If you would like to coach or assist with your childÂ’s team, please register as a coach through this website. You do not need to be a skilled soccer player or have intimate knowledge of the game to get started. Enthusiasm and the desire to provide guidance to our young soccer players is all that is necessary.
